Disclaimer:

If for some reason, Safe Food 101 needs to cancel a scheduled class, all students will be rescheduled for the next scheduled class.  This is highly unusual, however, unforeseen circumstances do arrive, and weather is highly unpredictable, especially in the winter months.  Safe Food 101 is committed to the safety of its staff and students and will make executive decisions when safety is a concern.

Refund Policy in Detail

Safe Food 101 will offer a partial refund for a public class if cancelled within 48 hours of a class; a non-refundable fee of $50 will be held.  Refunds will not be issued if a student or organization cancels class less than 48 hours in advance or if the student is a “no show” – does not show up for class.  Safe Food 101 does not issue refunds for any, online course(s), or course materials or cancellations of less than 48 hours.  This applies to all classes that are public, private, online or custom.  If enrolled in a public class, the student may reschedule at a later time and transfer payment to that class, however, this rescheduling must be completed within 48 hours of the scheduled class time.  If you would like to reschedule or transfer a public class, please contact Safe Food 101 at info@safefood101.com or call 618-406-4077.  Any cancellations of persons not attending scheduled class without contacting Safe Food 101 will forfeit all monies paid to Safe Food 101 and will have to reschedule at a later time and submit full payment for the current pricing of course and materials.  Registration for a class is complete when payment has been received and paid in full and confirmation has been delivered.  Payment may be made online by way of credit card or debit card. All checks must clear the bank prior to the scheduled class date. Cash is always welcome and gladly accepted.

Any course materials not included in the registration and/or class fee can be obtained through a third party merchant of the customer’s choice.  Safe Food 101 is not responsible or obligated to accept the policy, terms, and conditions set forth by said third party merchant

There are no refunds for online courses or online tests. Any student enrolled and taking an online class must provide a device (computer, tablet, etc) capable of running the browser based course and meeting system requirements. If your system does not meet the requirements and the course, please contact Safe Food 101 before the purchase of the online course or test.  Once the course or test has been purchased, no refunds will be issued.
